As hair professionals, we are accustomed to making others feel beautiful.

But with rising environmental concerns, it is our social responsibility to turn our attention to preserving the beauty of the world in which we are living. Becoming an eco-friendly hair salon is our first step towards this goal.

Our founder Angel did months of a deep research for alternative hair products that use glass instead of plastic but don’t compromise the quality of the results

That’s when he finally found OWAY – an Italian brand with a truly negative carbon footprint; Oway’s ingredients are grown and picked with zero chemicals in their biodynamic farms in Bologna, Italy.

The packaging itself is 100% infinity recycled. They are made with eco-certified recycled paper, wood, aluminium tubes and amber glasses. They will not only look beautiful on your bathroom, they can also been reused!

Our Atelier offers the Refill Station – when your favourite OWAY shampoo, conditioner or mask is finished, simply bring your bottle back to the salon and we will refill it and give you a “green discount”.

It is these small changes towards a more conscious attitude and behaviour that will help a create a better environment.

During peak periods every sink employed in hair washing can use approximately 75 gallons of water per hour!

Saving water at the Atelier is a key commitment for us to follow.

We have ECOHEADS showerheads installed on all backwashes, they help us use 65% less water than a regular showerhead! This saves energy by washing colour off in half the time.

These innovative heads also purify London’s hard water, filtering the high levels of calcium and magnesium compounds which can badly affect your hair and skin.

We are proud to be a part of the Green Salon Collective!

This exciting initiative collects almost 100% of all salon waste and finds new uses for it that reward the salon, the environment, and the community.

For example, aluminium foils can be recycled an infinite amount of times and even the hair cuttings can be recycled too; helping absorb oil from our waterways, or it can be added into garden composting mixes. Alternatively, if it’s long enough, the hair can be donated to wig making charities.

You can also be a part of this mission!
Every client will be introduced to the £1 Green Fee that helps towards the Collective’s collection costs.

100% of any money raised from recycling our raw materials or new products goes to causes such as;
– The Hair and Beauty Charity
– Foodcycle
– Haircuts 4 The Homeless
– Tree Planting
